Sorted!
My little nephew Freddie took advantage of the recent heatwave by having a surfing lesson down at Boscombe Beach, Bournemouth. He’s pictured here with Sam – his instructor and new BFF!

My little nephew Freddie won a competition to be an official mascot and walk Nadal out onto court at the Barclays ATP World Tour Finals at the 02.
What To Wear?!
Last week I did that horrendous job of swapping summer and winter clothes around (my wardrobe struggles to do both at the same time). Then what happens?
Sounds From The Underground
I was on the London Underground on my way to the hairdressers and over the speaker system came ‘a voice’ giving rail information. The man couldn’t speak, he ran his words into each other, spoke too quickly and for the life of me I couldn’t hear a word he said. in fact it was so bad people on the platform were laughing.
A hot 100
To Celebrate 100 dinner parties Corbin and I treated the crew to a BBQ lunch.
Corbin made the most delicious Beef burgers I located British Bangers.

Radish Red
Well I have managed to give myself Contact Dermatitis on my neck and chest… Why? Because I had done what I thought was the right thing for my skin and used a very high sun screen on that very delicate area.
Some Things Do Last Forever…
This Dolls House was made for me by my Dad in 1964. It was my Christmas present, it was love at first sight and probably where my passion for moving furniture around and nesting came from. 47 years later it is still being played with and loved.
Feet first
I was making a Banoffee Pie and realised my apartment kitchen didn’t have anything to bash the biscuits with.
Strictly Learning
For years I’ve secretly wanted to know how to Ballroom Dance. I’ve loved watching everyone glide around the room on Dancing With The Stars and Strictly Come Dancing. Last week after looking at the front door of Arthur Murray’s Dance Studio in Toronto I bucked up the courage and went in.
Cooking up trouble
I have just made 4 Banoffee pies for our crew lunch tomorrow…..
Andrea’s Apple & Almond Tart
My friend Andrea, who admittedly is a professional cook made this glorious Apple and Almond tart…and oh my goodness; it was a taste from the heavens.
Get Saucy with HP
I often make Shepherds Pies to freeze as they are so handy if you’ve got people coming and going.
BA Stop Nightmare In New York
My brother in law Gary Webster went on a 2 night business to trip to New York – only to arrive and hit the chaos of Hurricane Irene! He had booked through the British Airways web site, purchasing the flight and hotel as a package.
My Perfect Hostess Trolley
A major purchase has taken place… After years of loyal service and probably too many moves my old hostess trolley has been sent to the appliance graveyard.

Why I love organic!
A ground-breaking new cookbook, Discover Organic, has been launched by the Why I Love Organic campaign in time for Organic September 2011 – and I’m delighted that one of my favourite organic recipes has been included
Off On A Huff
I know my Mum said, “I want never gets” but I want a Huffy bike!
What Bliss
I recently popped into the Bliss Spa at the ‘W’ Hotel in Miami. The lovely thing about this chain is their consistency; wherever you are you know what you’re going to get. I came out with a product that made my skin feel so soft – it’s called ‘Hot Salt Scrub with Rosemary and Eucalyptus’. You rub in a circular motion all over a dry skin and then shower off.
Booted Off Facebook!
I have been in the middle of suffering the ultimate social rejection – blocked from my own Facebook page because according to Big Facebook Brother I am not who I say I am and the palaver to prove my authenticity requires DNA!!
