I love a Lippy 💋

I Love a Lippy!!

Never leave the house without a gloss, balm or stick and they are everywhere.

Open my desk draw, there’s one, they appear in coat pockets, my car, handbags, even found one the other day (I’d put on Marks jacket pocket) that I thought I’d lost.

You can be looking really tired but a little lippy, a touch on your apples and there you are looking brighter.

When I was little I was fascinated watching my Mum put hers on, to me wearing lipstick was the high of sophistication and I longed for a stick of my own.

I remember Claudia (my youngest stepdaughter) doing the same at around 3 as her little fingers went into my stash - One Xmas she even had a lipstick making machine and 25 years later I still have the little pot she made for me.

Mum could do though what I can’t, which is accurately put on lipstick without looking in the mirror I can do it with gloss but never a stick.

Rubbing your lips together after an application does work I find, it helps to bond the colour into your lips as I’m doing today.

I do use a brush, if I have one to hand and a lip liner but I never use anything outside my natural lip line, for me it looks odd.

Don’t forget to plaster your lips in BALM 6 before you go to bed, hydration is everything when it comes to our kissers!!

My faves are;

@studio10makeup
‘Wake up and Glow’ range (all 3 colours have a place in my bag) and their Rose ‘Lip Perfecting Plumping Gloss’ I’m obsessed by and their lip line pencil, its a great price and easy to sharpen.

@delilahcosmetics
