She was once the golden girl of television. And Anthea Turner, 55, certainly dressed to impress when she turned out for the Safety In Beauty White Party in London on Saturday night. The TV presenter wore a high-neck dress which gently skimmed her knees for the star-studded occasion, which celebrated professionals and achievements in the beauty industry.
Despite the warm British weather, Anthea, who has openly admitted to having had Botox , covered up in sheer tights and strayed from the dress code opting for a pair of silver stilettos. She wore her tousled blonde tresses pinned up on one side and polished off her look with a French manicure.
Airing her thoughts on cosmetic surgery, Anthea, who went under the knife in 2004, once said: ‘I’ve had a boob job because they were beginning to look like eggs in socks, and if I get to the point when make-up and good lighting can’t disguise the ravages of time, I’m sure I’ll have the odd nip and tuck.’
Later on in the evening The Jump star was pictured with a glass of white wine in one hand and her phone in the other as she navigated the crowds inside the bash, held at Home House, a private members club in Marylebone, before catching up with her close friend Lizzie Cundy. Lizzie, 37, looked equally glam in a floor length gown with sheer panelling. She spiced up her Grecian-style outfit with a gold waist belt and a golden cuff on each wrist. Apprentice export Leah Totton, who won the 2013 series of the hit BBC One show, was also there in a floor-length number along with Love Island rejects John and Tony Alberti, who both looked dapper in their matching outfits.
