My sister Wendy and her boys Jack and Freddie were hardly recognisable as they headed off to a belated Halloween party. But the night ended in screams of horror as Wendy fell down a flight of stairs and dislocated her shoulder – spending the rest of the night in West Middlesex Hospital’s A & E Department. She so loved her new false lashes which sadly were last seen on the floor of the hospital as she had cried them off!
