Mallorca Memories
MAGICAL MALLORCA...

If I had to recommend a holiday destination not too far from the UK, with plenty of flights going into a well run airport, great beaches, night life, culture, beauty, doesn’t burn a hole in your pocket, has an infrastructure that caters for tourists’ needs then Mallorca ticks all the boxes!

... and a few memories!
I’ve been visiting this island in the Balearics regularly ever since my first trip in 1995 when I was presenting ‘Fun In The Sun’ for GMTV, and the memories of Status Quo tuning up in Alcudia, Peter Andre keeping cool by literally standing in a fridge and Kim Wild putting her makeup on in a beach bar café are still very real! But for me the Mallorca I love and will always go back to is the one that has given me, my friends and family countless holidays mainly on boats mooring up in beautiful bays, visiting old ports, and generally making the best of a small space surrounded by the sea’s playground.

One of my favourite restaurants in the world is in Mallorca... it’s called Cala Conills at San Elm and I love it not because it has the greatest food but because of the combination of location, staff, food, wine, relaxation, and the memories I have of long, long lunches with friend there. Mallorca is littered with amazing hotels to fit every pocket, restaurants that can hold their own on every level and a stunningly beautiful locations. Just perfect.
